Honoring Our Ministry Gifts

We are so overjoyed to announce our Founder’s Day Appreciation service and banquet to honor the ministry gifts of Drs. Charles and Renea Johnson, Pastors of Victory Community Church – Arizona (VCC-AZ).

We are honoring not the personality of the Man and Woman of God but the reflection of God in them. We will be celebrating the Founders of VCC-AZ on September 2nd & 3rd, 2017.  There will be an appreciation banquet on September 2, 2017 which will include a comedian, music, dancing and special tributes to our Pastors. On Sunday, September 3, 2017, Dr. David Denson Jr. will deliver the Founder’s Day Appreciation Message.

I Timothy 5:17 says “Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine”. As “polished shafts”, our Pastors have certainly struck the mark in this community with the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ. Their commitment to God and their connection to the leadership has been the fire that has stirred the uncompromising stance in advancing the Kingdom of God in the earth. In accepting their mandate from Heaven to “Bring Water to a Dry Place”, their life and ministry have certainly embodied the theme for the Founders Day Appreciation celebrations: God’s Gifts for the Perfecting of the Saints! – Ephesians 4:11-12

Words of Acknowledgement

As the Executive Elder, it’s a privilege for me to honor my Pastors to whom I attribute my spiritual awakening and growth. They are shining examples of excellence in ministry, and trusted as my spiritual parents and guides. The importance of such Godly parents cannot be overstated, especially when you consider that many of us would not be saved from the wrath to come, had it not been for the prayers, revelation, assistance, support, or intervention of our Pastors.
